Storage heaters provide cost effective electric heating by storing heat at the cheapest tariff, usually at night. They can save a huge percentage of your electricity bill and heat your home for 24 hours a day.
The storage heaters use the cheap electric to heat ceramic block which are made of high density magnetite bricks. These absorb and store the heat. This heat is gradually realeased into the room during the day, untill the following evening, when the heater switches back on.

The fan assisted storage heaters are the most efficient and effective as they use a integral silent fan to expell the heat and warm the room. The fan speed is controlled by a room thermostat supplied. Of the static storage heaters, the automatic charge units offer at least 10% savings over the manual controls, due to the on board intelligence of how much stored heat is required. The combined storage heaters have automatic charge controls and also feature a on board panel heater, to give instant heat if required.
