What brands of Victorian 4 column cast iron radiators does Trade Radiators stock?
We stock 4 column cast iron radiators developed by Paladin.Â
As a UK based designer radiator brand, we think they are creating great products that have a great look, perform beyond expectations and have a great guarantee on the product. We have been stocking their radiators for a few years now, and based on customer feedback, they’re exceeding expectations in homes and offices across the UK.
If you prefer a similarly styled radiator but want to see what other column sizes would look like, we recommend having a look through the entire range of cast iron radiators, especially the Neo Georgian 6 column range and Kensington cast iron radiators.
What finishes do these radiators come in?
Depending on the size, you can get a 4 column cast iron radiator in the following finishes:
- Black
- Anthracite
- Copper
- Pewter
- Gold
- Bronze
- Mirror
- Hand Polished
It is also possible with some of the models to get a bespoke custom colour finish on request.
How can I get a cheap cast iron radiator?Â
With the level of detail and work needed to make cast iron radiators, they can be a little more expensive than similarly sized radiators or other styles.
You can use the filter options on the left side of the page to filter products by price and find a 4 column cast iron radiator within your price range. From time to time we will also add some of our cast iron radiators to our clearance section here. Always check it to see if you can get an even better deal on a new radiator.
Which 4 column cast iron radiator looks best in bedrooms?
You’ll want to give yourself as much space as possible in your bedroom, so opt for a small, but mighty radiator like the 460mm x 216mm radiator.
Which 4 column cast iron radiator looks best in living rooms?
If you have enough space, the 810mm x 1476mm model will heat larger living rooms and look fantastic in the process.
Do the number of columns matter when choosing a radiator?Â
Columns are more a design feature than anything, but any chance you have of creating extra space for air to circulate through your radiator, the better.
Also, remember that columns refer to the number of columns you see when looking at a radiator from the side and not the front. If you want a radiator with four panels from the front, take a look at our modern column radiators, with 2-4 front column models from Trade Direct.
Is there anything to know before buying a cast iron radiator?
Please note if the radiator you are ordering is over 1200mm in width it will be sent in 2x blocks. These will need joining on site with a joining tool.Â
These can be purchased on a sale or return basis here. For an instructional video on how to join the 2x blocks, click here.

We want to give customers the best deal possible on their purchase. That’s why we have a price promise in place. If you find the same make and model of a radiator on another UK based site for a better total price (that includes delivery), let us know, and we’ll match it.
