Whether you’ve been looking for a reliable towel rail for an extension or downstairs toilet, or want to showcase dynamic heating solutions with a curved radiator, Trade Radiators has the product you’re looking for.
Take a look at what’s currently in stock, as well as some of the limited offers we have on black electric heaters from Trade Direct and Pisa.
What does a black electric radiator look like?
Customers shopping for black radiators often choose this finish because it is matt in nature, as opposed to the highly glossed finish of a white electric radiator. This makes it possible for the radiator to blend in with surroundings. Many of the black radiators in this range have a matt - RAL 9005 finish, but you can see the exact colour used when checking the product specifications.
Someone looking for a dark finish with a sheen to it may prefer our black nickel electric radiators or polished electric radiators.
Do you have to clean or maintain a black electric radiator?
Black radiators will not require any special cleaners or equipment to keep it in working order. The finish should be cleaned just like your other radiators, and the structure of the radiator means it will never need to be bled (due to no air or water ever entering the unit).
How do black electric radiators work?
Black electric radiators have two key components inside to work: a heating element, and radiator fluid. When you turn on an electric radiator, the element inside will heat up (just like a kettle). As it gets warmer, the fluid reacts by expanding. This expansion causes the radiator to get warm, and heat surrounding air just like a traditional radiator.
Which brands are known for their black electric radiators?
Top brands we have in stock include:
Trade Direct is the own brand range developed by Trade Radiators. We wanted to give customers across Great Britain to chance to buy designer style electric radiators at a better cost than what designer sites currently offer. We have tried to make the range as versatile as possible, with numerous sizes and designs to work in any space.
Pisa is a reputable brand mainly known for its towel rails. We think if you want a rail with a deep black finish, which you know you’ll want a good guarantee on, their straight black rails will do the job.
What styles do black electric radiators come in?
We want to give our customers as much choice as possible, and offer black electric radiators in the following styles:
- Curved Ladder Rail
- Straight Ladder Rail
Do electric radiators have timers?
With electric radiators acting independently of traditional systems, it can sometimes be difficult to match a new radiator and get it to heat at the same time. Many radiators in this will come with an electric thermostat as standard (this varies depending on the brand), while some will have a simple manual valve.
If you want your electric radiators to be fully controlled, we recommend looking at some of our smart heating controls, which includes thermostats for controlling your entire heating system.
Are black electric radiators hard to install?
Apart from not needing to be piped up, these radiators are hung up just like a traditional radiator. They will not require any specialist work, and you simply need to make sure it is mounted close to an electrical socket.
