Trade Radiators supported some great charitable causes in 2013
For those of us who have busy office jobs, it can be easy to get so caught up in our own lives that we forget that there's many people less fortunate than ourselves, possibly fighting illness, poverty or disease. It's always good to take a step back once in a while to remember how lucky we are and to think about whether there's anything we can do to help others.
In 2013, the Trade Radiators team have been very proud to support some incredibly selfless and dedicated people, who have achieved many great things in order to raise money and awareness for various charities.
We'd like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to them here:
The Two Daves - David Crosby and David Dinsmore, who cycled 280 miles from London to Paris in less than 24 hours in July, raising a grand total of £3,438.75 for Scope, a charity which provides services for children with disabilities:

Brave and very daring Alison Gardener, who on 14th September 2013, bungee jumped off the top of the Titan Crane in Clydebank, Glasgow. At a height of 164ft and plummeting towards the ground at 50mph, it was no mean feat! Breast cancer survivor Alison raised a total of £2175.50 for Breast Cancer Care UK a charity providing specialist support and expert information for anyone affected by breast cancer.

And Paul Hamilton, of our friends Towelrads.com, who cycled from London to Paris in 3 days as part of a six man team in June, helping to raise a total of £14,132.80 for Cancer Research UK, the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research.
